Created New Index with LDIF FILE - Get DSA Unwilling To Perform When Searching On It (Doc ID 567720.1)

Symptoms

Created a new attribute and made it an indexed attribute.

1.  When attempting to search using the new index  get error message:

DSA Is Unwilling To Perform
 

2.  When attmpting to delete the indexed attribute get error message:

Constraint Violation

dn: cn=catalogs
changetype: modify
delete: orclindexedattribute
orclindexedattribute: DOB

Changes

Creation of New Index on an attribute as follows:

1. Followed documentation in note: 554236.1 Command-Line Tools for Managing Entries and Attribute to create additional indexes on OID attributes. For example:

dn: cn=subschemasubentry
changetype: modify
add: attributetypes
attributetypes: ( 2.16.840.1.101.110374.2.1.2.1.5 NAME 'DOB' OBJECTCLASS 'Person' DESC 'Date Of Birth' EQUALITY caseIgnoreMatch SYNTAX '1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.15' SINGLE-VALUE ) )


2. Updated OID to make the new attribute indexed:

dn: cn=catalogs
changetype: modify
add: orclindexedattribute
orclindexedattribute: DOB
