Symptoms

Chinese Characters are displayed as empty squares in PDF output although Font Subsetting is implemented for all Fonts.
Issue occurs when using Courier New or Arial Fonts in the Report.
Chinese Characters are displayed correctly when Arial Unicode font is used.
HTML output works fine for all Fonts.

Issue occurs with Font Subsetting on both Windows and Unix.
