Symptoms
If a TIFF image is used as an overlay in a COLD application, when viewing or scoping the fields in the Filer Definition Editor, the overlay is inverted in colour/is a negative image - ie. blacks are white, and whites are black.
On viewing the filed documents through a client, the overlay looks normal and as expected.
