Symptoms

When running a custom application (which logs into IPM on a machine which has never had the Windows production client installed), the application returns the following error:

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Unspecified error
Class ATL::CComObject<class CDomains>::Refresh
Class ATL::CComObject<class CUser>::Login
