Information in this document applies to any platform.

On a given Oracle instance, an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environment has been created as follows:

We are willing to create a second Work Repository, <WORK REPOSITORY 2>, on same Oracle instance.

As such, new Oracle schema <ODI WORK REPOSITORY SCHEMA 2> has been created and appropriate privileges have been granted.

While creating the new Work Repository from ODI Topology Manager, following message is displayed:

A Work Repository already exists for this connection. Enter the Repository password to declare it in your Master Repository

After having entered the requested password, the <WORK REPOSITORY 1> Work Repository is prompted out.

Why is the new Work Repository not created here?

Note that the whole ODI environment is to be created on same Oracle instance.
