Warning: It is best to run the optimization command when there is little to no traffic on the Content Server as the optimization will invalidate the search results which can cause users to see/not see search results for documents that they search for that they may not normally see, or should see. This behavior will cease once the optimization is complete. Generally, these commands are scheduled to run during the evenings or on the weekend via AT/Windows Scheduler or cron (UNIX).

1. Determine the current Verity search collection locale.

2. Determine which index is currently being used as the search collection.

3. Append to the operating system's ld library path, the location of the Verity libraries:
