NullPointerException when Clicking on the ODI Datastore "To Populate/Populated By" Button in Designer (Doc ID 748759.1)

Symptoms

When consulting the object cross-references in an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Model Datastore by clicking on the To Populate and Populated By tree-views, the following message is signaled:

edu.emory.mathcs.backport.java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.NullPointerException
  at edu.emory.mathcs.backport.java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.getResult(FutureTask.java:299)
  at edu.emory.mathcs.backport.java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.get ( FutureTask.java:118)
  ...

Changes

To Reproduce:

  1. Open ODI Designer.
  2. Open a Model used in an Integration Interface
  3. Open a Datastore which is used as a Source or Target in an Integration Interface.
  4. Click on the To Populate and Populated By tree-views.
  5. The message is signaled in a popup window to the right.
