Goal

This document gives some guidelines on what parameters can be tuned for a DB Adapter in order to achieve a better performance when polling for records in a Database.

These settings must be tuned taking into account the specific type of data, size of a record, number of records, hardware resources where SOA is running, and does not provide a general solution for all configurations.
