AD User Trusted Recon Throwing Java Exception due to LDAP: error code 32, NO_OBJECT (Doc ID 752627.1)

Symptoms

With the 9.1.0.1 version of the AD Connector, when trying to run a trusted recon we get the following exception.

This config had the Manager ID mapped as per the documents for the 9.1.0.1 Patch and only AD users with no manager defined would have a recon event created, others would cause the above error.
