Popup Calendar Failed to Popup After Reloading the Content from the Database

Symptoms
On Content Server, when attempting to use the PopUp calendar to edit a date field the following error occurs:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a content item and set any date field to either previous month or the next month
2. Save the content Item.
3. Reload the content item by clicking the information icon and choosing the update option.
4. Click the PopUp calendar icon next to the date field
5. Receive the above mentioned JavaScript error
