The IPM Web Client Appears to Hang at "Plug-in Downloading" (Doc ID 756815.1)

Symptoms

When using the IPM Plugin viewer for the web client, after a certain number of image views, the web client appears to hang while displaying "Plug-in Downloading".  The only work around is to completely exit the internet browser.
