Symptoms

Given a XML or File Technology Data Server defined in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Topology Manager > Physical Architecture and pointing to a file hosted on a remote machine/server.

Although the connection is successfully tested from ODI Topology Manager with an Agent running on the remote machine, the standard reverse engineering fails with one of the following messages:
