Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server x86-64 (AMD Opteron Architecture)
x86 64 bit
SUSE \ UnitedLinux x86-64

Symptoms

Upon users selecting to view WebCenter Content (WCC, formerly UCM) content server's Contribution Folders' contents or Properties, the Folders service does not run nor is an error is reported by content server in its logs or server output; however, the Java process dumps the below SIGSEGV runtime error log in the content server bin directory labeled hs_err_pidxxxxx.log. Other aspects of content server appear to function as-designed. The expected result is that users can view Contribution Folders' contents or Properties without any errors.
