This document is a support pattern describing how to troubleshoot and resolve server proxy plug-in issues.
Problem Description
Configure the WebLogic Proxy Plug-ins (iPlanet/SunOne, Apache, IIS) with a few additional parameters as described below to produce diagnostic data if issues like the following are encountered:
Uneven load balancing of HTTP requests.
Frequent or unexpected session failover.
Unexpected status codes in HTTP response, e.g., 400, 404, 500, 503 etc., for which the origin or cause cannot be determined from the backend WebLogic servers.
