Symptoms
You have a BPEL process that invokes an ESB service. The ESB service uses a database adapter to execute a stored procedure. When the stored procedure fails, the ESB service fails and you see that the calling BPEL process receives a rollback request and can't catch the fault generated by the ESB process. The following is the ORABPEL-08034 JTA Rollback Request exception that shows in the $SOA_HOME/opmn/logs/SOA_GROUP~<your_container>~SOA_GROUP~1.log file:
