Goal

This note is to show how to configure multi-master replication with different DB_DOMAIN values.

This note is tested on 10.1.4.0.1.

Solution
 1. Install MDS as a normal OID
 2. Install RMS as a Replica
 3. Modify tnsnames.ora in MDS and RMS as below
 4. Comment out names.default_domain in sqlnet.ora as it does not match the domain in one of aliases in the tnsnames.ora files.
 5. Test sql connection to/from mds and rms
 5. remtool -asrsetup -v
 6. remtool -asrverify -v
 7. Start OID Replication Process on MDS and RMS
 8. Test MMR
