Symptoms
In an Application Server 10.1.2 File Based Repository DCM Farm, an OC4J instance can not be deleted with Application Server Control or dcmctl removecomponent. The following error is logged in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/dcm-daemon~dcm-daemon~dcm~1:
