Symptoms
- Following an unplanned network outage (crash), performing a basic user search in OIDDAS will cause a process to hang in the OID database consuming high CPU until the query timeout limit is reached.
- No results are ever returned.
- Performing the same query using Advanced Search in DAS returns results normally.
- Normal command line ldap queries using ldapsearch or 3rd party LDAP tools function normally.
- The searchfilter used by DAS, as seen in the OIDDAS debug log, is:
