Tree Metadata Element with option 'Store Complete Selection Path' Does Not Display Properly On Update Page

Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
There is a metadata element defined as a tree (multi select list) using a three tiered DCL as its
value. It works fine on the initial checkin, and also looks good on the info page. However, if
multiple values are added, the update page shows bad data for the values. This only happens for metadata fields that are using the 'Store Complete Selection Path' option available in the metadata tree option within the configuration manager.
