Goal

The document explains how to disable the directory poller in the Hybrid (DB + LDAP) ALBPM (OBPM) installations.

Disabling the polling may improve the product performance, reduce the load on the directory server and eliminate errors related the excessive amount of open LDAP connections, such as "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Failed to fork OS thread" or "java.net.BindException: Address already in use: connect" in client socket while connecting to the directory server.
