Symptoms

When trying to use the Oracle Data integrator (ODI) IKM SQL to Hyperion Essbase (Metadata) to update attributes -UDAs- the following message is signaled:

However, when deleting the UDAs from the source file, this issue is not encountered.

The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.
