This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
You have a BPEL process that invokes a web service. The wsdl for the webservice, refers to the simple type int, which is defined in http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema . You can deploy the BPEL process without any problem but when you set validateXML to true in the BPEL domain and try to run the process, the invoke activity faults indicating that the schema is invalid.
