Symptoms

When Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 10g Master Repository is stored on Sybase ASE and when multiple ODI users attempt to simultaneously connect to the ODI environment, locks (or dead-locks) are set on SNP_HOST_MOD table and the use of ODI GUIs is no longer possible.

Note that on the Sybase ASE database instance, all ODI Repository tables have been assigned to use ROW level locks.
