Rendition set not Successfully Created for Imported Content Item with MIME Type of image/jpg (Doc ID 859180.1)

Symptoms


Importing an image through archiver with a MIME type of image/jpg fails to have a rendition set
created. The weblayout version of the image is a copy of the native file. The renditions tab
only states: "A rendition set was not successfully created for this content item." The refinery
tracing does not show that an attempt was made to convert the file into a rendition set at all.
