Purpose

This article provides steps for setting up RC scripts for automatic restart and shutdown of WebLogic Server processes at the the time of UNIX server reboot.

Note: In this note we provide generic UNIX configuration information related to setting RC scripts for WebLogic server for reference purpose only. In case you encounter any issues related to Operating System or RC scripts please contact your Operating System Administrator.

Scope

This document is applicable for all versions of WebLogic and the procedure is the same for all flavors of UNIX OS.
