Goal
By default, user and group attribute size limits in OIDDAS are 256 characters, except for multi-line single-value attributes, which are 1024. Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to increase the size limits. This is configurable in OID 10.1.4.x.
The following error, seen when editing an attribute in OIDDAS, is evidence of a problem caused by an attribute value that exceeds the DAS attribute character limit:
