JavaScript Error (Object required, Trace to capture) In IE 6 When Using Asynchronous Content Rendering (Doc ID 888062.1)

Symptoms

A JavaScript error (Object required, Trace to capture) occurs in Internet Explorer (IE) 6 when Asynchronous Content Rendering is enabled for a portlet when linking different jsp pages inside the same portlet. The issue does not occur when using IE7 or Firefox.

Please see attached screenshot for exact error.

There are two ways the issue occurs:

1. Pageflow portlet with <netui:anchor> link to another jsp page.

2. JSP portlet with <netui:anchor> refresh link.

Note:The above mentioned tag  netui:anchor is part of Apache Beehive JSP tags
