org.apache.bcel.classfile.ClassFormatException Thrown By JDBC Datasource Connections

A J2EE appplication is deployed into OC4J.
To access the database server, JDBC connections are retrieved from a datasource configured in OC4J.
With a high load and simultaneous use of those connections, the following exception is thrown :

java.sql.SQLException: org.apache.bcel.classfile.ClassFormatException: Invalid method signature:
at oracle.oc4j.sql.proxy.SQLBCELProxy.oc4j_createConstructionKey(
at oracle_jdbc_driver_LogicalConnection_Proxy.createStatement()
