Delay in Trusted Domain Authentication in Web Capture After Domain Change (Doc ID 941953.1)

Symptoms

When switching to the backup Web Capture Server (on a separate domain), the Web Capture client
cannot authenticate users to a trusted domain for 1/2 hour to 1 hour after the change has been made. Once the first user can authenticate, all issues seem to subside. The errors encountered by the clients when this
happens are:

Failed to Login
The following error occurred while attempting to login:
Login failed.
Error number:20046
Error Description: [The User Name and Password entered could not be validated. Please try again.]

Failed to Login
The following error occurred while attempting to login:
Login failed.
Error number:20047
Error Description: [The following error occurred during login.
Error Description: 20046
Error Number: Error [Automation error
The network path was not found. ] on line [12] Domain=[QTEST]UserID=[HRTEST]
The User Name and Password entered could not be validated. Please try again.]
