Symptoms

Customers that upgrade to the latest version of IPM can longer perform OCR operations. This a result of the change of the licensing model where, in ABBYY 9.0, all licensing for ABBYY products is done through ABBYY directly. With IPM 7.6.2, the ABBYY 6.0 OCR engine was provided through Oracle and as was its licensing.
