Running an ADF Application in Standalone WebLogic Server Fails With Errors JBO-26061 or ORA-01005 (Doc ID 958650.1)

You have developed an ADF application with JDeveloper 11g. The application works correctly in the Embedded WebLogic Server.
You have set up a Standalone WebLogic Server where you installed the ADF Runtime Libraries as explained in "Installing and Configuring a Standalone WebLogic Server for ADF Application Deployment"

You can deploy your application there without any error.
However, you get the following errors when trying to run it:

oracle.jbo.DMLException: JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection.
     at oracle.jbo.server.ConnectionPool.createConnection(
     at oracle.jbo.server.ConnectionPool.instantiateResource(
     at oracle.jbo.pool.ResourcePool.createResource(
     at oracle.jbo.pool.ResourcePool.useResource(
     at oracle.jbo.server.ConnectionPool.getConnectionInternal(
