Scheduled ODI Sessions Persist Unexpectedly In The Waiting Status (Doc ID 972723.1)

While running ODI Scenarios on a Scheduler Agent it may happens that the sessions persist in the Waiting status in ODI Operator and no message is signaled.

Under such circumstances, it is still possible to :

  1. Ping the Agent Port
  2. Retrieve the scheduled tasks (which are stored in the ODI Master Repository).

However, the Session is unable to start and the program code cannot be prepared in the Operator.


This situation may arise in the following situations :

  1. After running a RMAN backup on the ODI Repositories.
  2. After restarting the Repository database.
  3. Occurrence of network interruptions or overload....
