Cannot Register SSO 10.1.4.01 With OID 11G Since OID Started In Read-only Mode (Doc ID 975005.1)

Symptoms

 

Before continue reviewing this technical note, it is high recommended read it first 1364497.1. As integration method between old release SSO 10g and OID 11g is an older method which was previously followed as a temporary solution. Please review follow technical note to identify your single sign-on requirements and review notes and requiriments to move from Oracle SSO to OAM 11g as SSO 10.1.4.3 is in termial release.

New Direction for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g with Single Sign-On 10g  (Doc ID 1364497.1)



In the process of installing SSO and OIDDAS 10.1.4.0.1 to integrate with OID 11g as documented on:

In particular step 6 on "11.2 Procedure" section:
Install Oracle Single Sign-On and Oracle Delegated Administration Services Release 10g (10.1.4.0.1).

Followed messages reported in the oidmon_0000.log:

[2009-12-07T12:03:09-05:00] [OID] [NOTIFICATION:16] [] [OIDMON] [host: <OID_HOSTNAME>] [pid: <PID>] [tid: 0] OIDMON_STOP: WARNING: Connected to incorrect OID base schema version, (version=10.1.4.0.1).
WARNING: OID server (version 11.1.1.2.0) is now operating in read_only mode

Changes

Completed steps from 1 to 5 from the above documentation. No problem reported on steps.
Step 5 involves running <ORACLE_HOME>/ldap/bin/inspre11.pl with -op2

OID was restarted after step 5 was completed.
