Symptoms

When attempting to kill an ODI Session from ODI Operator with a right kill > Stop on the Session record, the following message is signaled :

com.ibm.db2.jcc.b.SqlException: DB2 SQL error: SQLCODE: -408, SQLSTATE: A value is not compatible with the data type of its assignment target. Targetname is "<name>"
42821, SQLERRMC: I_TXT_STEP_MESS

However, the concurrent ODI Agent trace file indicates no particular problem and once the message is accepted by the engineer and the pop-up window closes, the ODI Session comes back to the stop status with all correct message 'Session stopped' at all Session levels.
