Symptoms

An inbound dequeue Oracle Applications adapter or AQ adapter is being used in a BPEL or ESB service.  The end-to-end service has been configured to function as XA following this Technical Brief documentation:

An Oracle Technical Brief

During dequeue of Business Events or AQ messages the SOA server is stopped, by killing the JVM for the SOA container for example.  Following the restart it is noticed that some of the Business Events or AQ messages are not accounted for and therefore are lost.
