OID 11g: DIP Synchronization from TDS (Tivoli Directory Server) to OID Fails with No Log Errors (Doc ID 988447.1)

Tivoli Directory Server


Symptoms

Change logging is enabled for the Tivoli Directory Server, but new changes are not synchronized to Oracle Internet Directory .
The "Last Applied Change Number" of the Synchronization profile is not increased.
The wls_<MANAGED_SERVER>-diagnostic.log file of the WebLogic Managed Server does not show any Synchronization error.

The diagnostic.log file could be found under:
<PATH_TO_DOMAIN>/<DOMAIN_NAME>/servers/<MANAGED_SERVER>/logs

Example:
<PATH_TO_DOMAIN>/<DOMAIN_NAME>/servers/wls_ods1/logs

Extract from the wls_<MANAGED_SERVER>-diagnostic.log:
