Goal

This document describes how to use the aliasdetourhost keyword (introduced in Messaging Server 5.2p2), which improves the ability of the Messaging Server's MTA (Message Transfer Agent) to easily and efficiently detour messages through any kind of external scanner.  It is largely replaced by direct plugins for popular virus and spam scanning solutions and the milter interface.
