Bulk Order Activation SRT Error; java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread (Doc ID 1050769.1)

Symptoms

Testing bulk activations using ASAP on a HP-UX Itanium environment. We have carried out two runs, the first containing 1,000 orders, the second containing 10,000 orders. I have noticed that a number of orders have not completed in ASAP, the orders are failing when processing in the SRT.

When investigating I found the following error message generated in the BEA logs.
