Will An Order Suspend Operation Have Negative Performance Impact? (Doc ID 1053941.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 6.3.1 to 6.3.1 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We want to introduce the orders suspension automated mechanism which will be based on one of P6 order XML tag value. It means the order will be introduce in suspended state if the one of tag value will equal the given configurable value.

Next the suspended orders will be resumed (if some external conditions will be fulfilled) and the orders processing should be continued.

Please provide us with information what impact on overall system performance will the order suspension mechanism introduce?

Perhaps there is in P6 other mechanism which makes it possible to stop processing the group of orders based on P6 XML tag value.
