USER IS ABLE TO APPROVE THEIR TIMESHEET IF THEY ARE ON AN APPROVAL TITLE WITH A TIME DOCUMENT LIMIT (Doc ID 1080781.1)

Last updated on MAY 02, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management - Version 1.8.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

How can I configure the system to not allow an individual to approve their own timesheet no matter what? The help info indicates that the Timekeeping Authority rule simply provides access (not approval) to certain timesheets. However, it appears that if a user has an approval title that allows them to approve Timesheets, even though his/her approval title is not the Next Approver on his/her timesheet they can approver their own timesheet.
