Network Mediation Processing Disk Capacity Issues (Doc ID 1083630.1)

Network Mediation system is encountering decode errors and very large processing files leading to 100% disk utilisation. Collection and processing of CDRs is currently disabled.

The logs shows the below error:

2010-02-05 08:12:38; Major; Resources; Error processing file; Corrupt NAR file found - 0_2s9r1l-99g-eydyipyp_Feb_5__2010_6_54_33_679.arch Will try to process this file again.#EOR#
2010-02-05 08:12:39; Major; Resources; Error processing file; Second error converting corrupt NAR file to NARs. 0_2s9r1l-99g-eydyipyp_Feb_5__2010_6_54_33_679.arch renamed to 0_2s9r1l-99g-eydyipyp_Feb_5__2010_6_54_33_679.arch.bad and moved to /opt/NM501/log/2s9r1l-99g-eydyiq3h/badarch#EOR#

The logs show that within minutes of this error occurring, disk usage issues occurred:

2010-02-05 08:33:37; Major; Resources; Error writing file; Error writing data to NAR cache file :: /opt/NM501/scratch/2s9r1l-99g-eydyiq3h/0_2s9r1l-99g-eydyiq3h_Feb_5__2010_8_33_36_843.cache :: ERROR: No space left on device#EOR#
2010-02-05 08:33:37; Major; Resources; Error processing file; Error occurred while processing record. Record written to /opt/NM501/scratch/2s9r1l-99g-eydyiq3h/error.out#EOR#

In /opt/NM501/scratch directory, files are of approximately 9 GB in size.
