Purpose

From 7.4 BRM Documentation - Installation Guide - Upgrading to BRM 7.4 - Upgrade impacts from BRM 7.3.1 to BRM 7.4 Storable class changes from BRM 7.3.1 to BRM 7.4:

/discount  The following field was added: * PIN_FLD_CODE - The discount’s unique code.
/product   The following field was added: * PIN_FLD_CODE - The product’s unique code.

We can also see the fields description, in BRM Documentation - Reference - Database reference - Storable class definitions:

/discount
string PIN_FLD_CODE
Unique code of the discount.
Notes

* Required on object creation
* Cannot be modified
* Audit trail is created automatically when this field is modified.
* Maximum length is 255 bytes

Unique code of the product.
Notes
