Symptoms

You are using RDC for Data Entry and have several studies which are ostensibly assigned to you. Upon logging in to RDC Onsite (Test) or RDC Classic (Test) You expect to be able to click on the 'CHANGE STUDY' button to change to another study.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: the 'CHANGE STUDY' button is missing and the 'FILE' menu options for changing the study are grayed out and missing in the SEARCH CRITERIA window.

Or, you receive the following error messages:

'User does not have access to any RDC accessible studies. Please contact your help desk.'

This also occurs when access RDC Onsite in Test mode
(http://servername.domain/olsa/oc/rdcLogin.do?event=doSetup&mode=T).

However, the condition manifests itself through the Studies drop down list.

OCCURRENCE PATTERNS: consistent, if user is not part of a group, the problem is limited to the individual; if a group is assigned, then all members of the group have the same experience.

WORKAROUNDS / HAS ALREADY TRIED: make user a superuser

OC NAV:  Admin > Users > Oracle Accounts > Query up the user > click the 'Super User' check box > Save (button) > Exit (button).
