Matching Node Names in the ACS EDR's TFN Tag with the Name of a Feature Node (Doc ID 1179734.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 2.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The TFN (Traversed Feature Nodes) field of an ACS (Advanced Control Services) Event Data Record (EDR) holds information about the path that has been followed in the Control Plan during the application logic execution inside ACS.

This TFN field will contain abbreviated feature node names instead of the complete ones.

For a complete description of the content of the ACS EDRs, please refer to the EDR reference guide, which also holds a list of the matches between abbreviated feature nodes and complete ones for the standard ACS feature nodes.

For a description of a particular node, please refer to the Control Plan Editor (CPE) user guide.

This document gives the location in the database where you can match the abbreviated feature node name to the complete one for all nodes, including the ones added by installation of any other Oracle Communication Network Charging and Control products.
