Comverse Insight-SRL Cartridge(Comversesrl_3_x) Did Not Generate Connection Lost Exception (Doc ID 1182235.1)

Symptoms

On Comverse SRL 3 Technology Cartridge,

User found that the cartridge did not generate a connection lost exception when the network element did not respond to a request. The read timeout was configured as 30 seconds, with the understanding that if the network element did not respond in 30 seconds, then the cartridge should throw a connection lost exception. Disconnection of the existing connection also did not happen after configured drop_timeout parameter. it was configured as 1 min.

Workaround is to restart the NEP server to disconnect the connection.
