How To Avoid TCP Connections Being Closed Before The Last Message Is Send? (Doc ID 1218338.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Converged Application Server - Version 4.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

TCP connections for outgoing SIP messages are closed after an idle time of 65 seconds by default.

Some times this is not enough to exchange all SIP messages via the same TCP connection which might result in warning messages after the TCP connection timed out.

This article describes how to tune the above timeout.
