Goal

This article will explain a method of deleting a large batch of vouchers (that can not be deleted using the Service Management System (SMS)) screens in a safe manner which will have as little impact on a production system as possible.

This method is applicable to all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C).

It is not recommended to delete large vouchers batches as it has an impact on replication load and can cause service degradation, all nodes are hit with lots of updates (well deletes) at the same time.
