Is there a Way to To Skip TMS Rederivation When Batch Validation Is Run On A Study ? (Doc ID 1294068.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Clinical - Version 4.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We would like the ability to be able to effectively switch off TMS coding for an Oracle Clinical Study.

For example:

When a study has been locked for a number of months or years but has to be re-opened to load serology data (not a coded data type), Batch Validation has to be run in order for data to be extracted from the $<STUDY>
data extract views.

When Batch Validation is run against the study, any changes in the TMS coding dictionaries (e.g. MedDRA versioning) linked to the study will be applied to the study as well. There are cases when this
TMS re-derivation needs to be skipped.
