Scripts Does Not Refresh the Dashboardthe Alert in CCB (Doc ID 1296026.1)

Last updated on JULY 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
After a script has been executed, the dashboard will not be refreshed automatically since the information is cached. That means that the dashboard might not reflect the current situation until the Refresh button is pressed.

An example of this behavior is the "CI_PNote" script that is executed when the user clicks on the "Premise Note +" hyperlink (based on the Navigation Option of the Script type). This script creates a Premise Note and a case of the Premise Note type.

Symptoms

Open cases are supposed to be highlighted in the dashboard's Alert zone (assuming that the Installation Control Central Alert algorithm is plugged in). Since the script does not refresh the dashboard, no alert for the newly created Premise Note case is displayed in the Alert zone upon completing the script.
