Symptoms

IMAP response time degrades, you may notice an unusual build-up of messages waiting in the ims-ms channel queue if not using LMTP (or in the LMTP channel on the MTA), and the server may be restarted seemingly at random by watcher due to msprobe testing with messages like this in the default log file:
